Learning Outcome - Create and apply styles in digital document
Objective: Using various commands to create styles in LibreOffice Writer.
Task: Type a paragraph with at least 80 words on Computer education and create given styles as instructed.:
2. Paragraph: Apply Style Text Body from the Style Gallery.
3. Conclusion: Font Name: Broadway, Size:16, Colour: Blue, Alignment: left.
Give the style name: conclusion1.
Solution 1. Creating Style for Heading ➤ Open LibreOffice Writer. ➤ Open Styles and Formatting dialog box by pressing F11 or clicking Styles → Manage Styles. ➤ Type the heading: COMPUTER EDUCATION. ➤ Select the heading text. ➤ Click on New Style from Selection. ➤ Type the style name: Assignment1 Heading and click OK. ➤ Right-click on the created style and choose Modify. ➤ Apply the following formatting: • Font Name: Times New Roman • Font Size: 24 • Font Colour: Red • Alignment: Center ➤ Click OK. 2. Creating Style for Paragraph ➤ Type the paragraph on Computer Education.
➤ Select the paragraph text.
➤ Open Styles and Formatting using F11.
➤ Under Paragraph Styles, double-click on Text Body.
➤ The paragraph style will be applied successfully.
3. Creating Style for Conclusion
➤ Type the conclusion sentence.
➤ Select the conclusion text.
➤ Click on New Style from Selection.
➤ Type the style name: conclusion1.
➤ Click OK.
➤ Right-click on the style and choose Modify.
➤ Apply the following formatting:
• Font Name: Broadway
• Font Size: 16
• Font Colour: Blue
• Alignment: Left
➤ Click OK.
